Last Wednesday we had a 2 hour delay, Thursday no school, Friday no school, Sat/Sun weekend, and today is a holiday so there is no school. But as you see from the pictures, it looks like we may be off again tomorrow!! It has been a 5 day weekend so far, but tomorrow would make it 6 days off!! I will keep you posted.
Today is one of the few days that Dustin and I have off together. I began to see last night that we were not likely going anywhere today due to the winter weather advisory we are under, so I began to think of something different, free, and fun we might be able to do here on a snow day. (I'm beginning to go stir crazy!!) I proposed, and surprisingly Dustin agreed, to have a fancy lunch and cook it together. My mom got me a Hershey cookbook for Christmas and I have not made anything from it yet, so our lunch and dessert are coming from that. I'm not sure how "Cocoa-Coffee Spiced Chicken with Salsa Mole" will be, but we are going to try it. Our dessert will be delicious....chocolate crinkle cookies!! I haven't made those in forever, and Dustin picked those out too. I will let you know how that cocoa-coffee chicken turns out. We aren't going to spice all of the chicken like that just in case.

you are lucky you get fancy dinners. just tody we had macoroni with hamburger in it. we have no snow and we havent for a little while. we have only had 2 snowdays and i am glad. i dont want to be in school in June.
