WOW! I am about 5 days late on my second verse for the month, but better late than never.
"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world."

This is a good one for me right now. Especially when it seems like the new buzz is about the economy and world spinning out of control siting on the brink of disaster. Sometimes it's difficult not to get sucked into those conversations about how bad everything is and the gloom and doom. However, I try to walk away and remember that it doesn't matter what hurricane the world may be in the middle of, because I hold on to something way greater than any problem. And besides, these problems and issues have already been overcome!! That's something to have joy about!!
