The MAN in Dustin telling him he doesn't need the instructions
We have been shopping around for a while to find the perfect stroller/car seat combination. We have looked at many online, in stores, and even taken down several displays to push them around the store to see if we really like it or not. Because Dustin will be gone much of the time during the day the next few years, I wanted a way to go for hikes, walks, and even runs with the baby. So we decided on a Jogging Travel System. The stroller is a jogging stroller, which has shocks and large wheels to eliminate the baby bouncing when we go over rougher terrain. It also has just one wheel in the front for the sharpest turn in tight spots or quick turns. The car seat matches the stroller and fits nicely into the stroller so we can take the baby out of the car while she is still sleeping and start strolling around the mall without waking her. Also, the car seat is super light....but will be about 7 pounds heavier in a few months!! The only bad thing about a jogging stroller as opposed to the traditional stroller is that it doesn't fold down as small. However, during one of our store visits we folded down the jogging and traditional stroller next to one another and there was very little difference.....and when we took the front wheel off (which can be done with one hand very easily) it was just as small!! I think we got the best of both worlds.
Anyway, Dustin did get it put together and he discovered that those big wheels will come in handy. He rolled over everyone of Cocoa's toys on the floor and even ran into the couch once on accident. (I am going to have to give him driving lessons before we put the baby in it!!) HA HA!! We are delighted with our choice!! I will put pictures of the finished product next.
