Taking A Walk In January

Cocoa seemed to be a sad puppy today as it was our first day back at our house. Our house is not the sad part, but not having her three friends in Missouri to play with all day is the sad part. She LOVED playing with them! Because it was such a nice day today we decided to take her to the Greenbrier River Trail for a walk. I didn't even need a coat!!

In the first picture you will see Cocoa waiting for a treat. We taught her the command "up". When we give this command, she is to jump up on the nearest ledge, bench, or other high object. Well, we said "up" and she ran to this bench. You see in the picture that she is waiting quietly on that bench for her treat.

The second picture is a close up of her anticipation for the treat! She loves them!

The final picture is of Cocoa and Dustin standing on the rock looking into the water. Cocoa got her front paws in the water, but she didn't go any farther than that! It may have been nice walking weather, but certainly not swimming weather!

Cocoa seemed to cheer up after getting outdoors and just letting herself follow her overactive nose.
