Cardboard and Aluminum Meal

On days like today what would I do without cardboard and aluminum meals??!!

I had a meeting after school today and did not make it home until 6 PM. At that point I did not feel like making dinner from scratch (HA HA). So, as I browned the meat and poured the contents of the cardboard box into my skillet, I began to think about life without these cardboard and aluminum life savers!! Everything we had for dinner tonight came from a box or can, as you see in the picture!! WOW! That's sad...I'm embarrassed!

Sometimes I think it would have been fun to live 100 years ago when things were simpler (not easier). But on nights like tonight it would have been hard to get myself motivated to walk the 1/2 mile to the well and get the water to boil my hamburger helper!! HA HA!

By the way, I don't recommend the mashed sweet potatoes. I haven't been sick enough to lose my food the entire time I have been pregnant, but those mashed sweet potatoes just about broke my record! Stay away from them!!!!!

Gina, since you're so good at keeping up w/ your blog and we're not, how about you can do ours too? You can even make up your own stories and we'll claim them!

I see 2 box tops on those products though! If you're not using them, cut them out and send them to SPE!
