I had mentioned on the previous blog that a friend was taking the challenge to memorize scriptures. You can find more information on Beth Moore's blog, but the scriptures are supposed to apply to each individual, so there is not one scripture that she is recommending for everyone. You are supposed to have a scripture that applies to your life. Thanks, Jen, for the challenge!!
So here is my first Bible verse for the year. To kick it off I thought I would have a verse about the importance of God's Word itself, so...

my favorite bible verse is philipians 4:13. it says I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
