My Struggle With The BIG BOWS

Unpacking, bow partying, grocery shopping, catching up on sleep, playing and laughing with Alyssa. These are a few things that have captured my time rather than blogging over the past couple of days. My appologies! Here's what's been going on.....

Alyssa is constantly trying to put her hand in her mouth. She most recently discovered that although her entire hand doesn't fit, she can successfully put her thumb in and is completely content with that.

A bow party?!?! That's right. There are an abundance of girl babies among our friends, so we attended a bow party. You can see from the last picture that I branched out from the small bows and bought a bit one! Susan, I got this orange bow to match the outfit you got Alyssa (the outfit is just a tad too big still). I thought I would put this bow on her for church yesterday. You see, this whole big bow world is a little scary for me. I'm not sure why, but I'm a little nervous about them. It's not that I'm afraid she can't hold her head up because of a big bow (trust me, I made sure she could). The bow could only weigh, what, maybe a fraction of an ounce, but for some reason something is holding me back from going out into public with a big bow on her head. To go to church, I tried about five bows on, and guess which one she left the house wearing.....NONE!! I'm hoping I can make it though this bow struggle. It may take some time, but I will keep you updated on my progress.

When the hand doesn't fit.....

......try the thumb!

Ava loves her thumb! Go for the big bows...we do! (Jarred sometimes hates them, but a girl has to accessorize!)

Haha! Don't ask my opinion about bows :) My theory - the bigger the better!!! Love the bows, darling!!!
