Today, February 9, is Cocoa's first birthday!!! She had a great birthday!! The weather was 63 degrees and I took her on a long walk as usual. She even got a birthday cupcake and a purse. I saw the purse at the pet store and knew it would be the perfect birthday gift for her. The handles are ropes so she can play tug of war and the purse part of it is a squeaky toy. SHE LOVES IT!! You can see that she is carrying it around like she is ready to go shopping.
As for the cupcake, she of course loved that too. I made sure it was a small one and with no chocolate icing.....she devoured it as soon as we gave her the OK.....and after we took out the candle of course!

oh my gosh that purse is so cute!!! i wish we had big birthdays for my dog. but we adopted her and we dont know when her real birthday is. maybe one of these days we will just throw one for her on a random day. see ya. :-)
Rachel, I have dogs that we don't know when their birthdays are, we normally celebrate it on the day they came into our life as their birthday. And Gina.... POOORRRR Dustin, a wife that SHOPS, a baby girl on the way... and even a dog that has purse in mouth ready to shop till she drops. Poor poor guy. lol
