I will be brief. We went yesterday for a weigh-in to see if Alyssa is gaining weight. Boy is she!!! Let's recap...when she was born she weighed 5lb 13 oz, left the hospital at 5 lb 8 oz, two days later at her Dr. appt. she was 5 lb 7 oz, the next week she was 6 lb 2 oz, and yesterday she weighed in at a whopping 7lb 10 oz!!! I couldn't believe it! I'm so glad she is getting enough to eat and gaining weight appropriately.
All is well here at our house. We are packing and preparing to move. I don't remember it being so difficult to keep the house uncluttered when we pack, but it has been a challenge this time. We have most of our things that we need seasonally in large totes, and today we eliminated enough stuff to empty four totes! We are getting rid of useless things or things we never use because we have to pack up and move again in one year when these rotations are over. We will be relocating somewhere else for his final year of rotations. What a life....we have packed up and moved every year since we have been married. I'm ready to be somewhere for a LONG time! This packing and moving stuff is not fun. I feel bad for professional movers. Yuck!
