Here in Lewisburg we are experiencing the lowest gas prices in what seems like forever. It is currently $2.35 a gallon here in good ol' West Virginia. It seems like taxes are so expensive across the board here. I'm guessing that's why our prices are so much more expensive than the sub $2 they are experiencing in Missouri! I have to say I am jealous!!
We go for our 4 month (16 week) check up this Wednesday. At this appointment we will just hear the heartbeat and they will drain me of my blood to run more and more tests. During pregnancy you gain about 30% to 50% more blood than you did before you were pregnant, and I am beginning to think this is because they drain you of so much blood for testing. I didn't pass out at the 12 week appointment when they took my blood. I think the trick was to let the lady drawing my blood know that I frequently pass out when giving blood and would like a place to lay down before even beginning to draw. I did just fine, but I am ready for this vampire business to stop!!! I hope they don't do it at every monthly check up!
I will not have an ultrasound this time, but I will in December and at that appointment we will find out the gender!!!
