Well, my walking to school days are about over. It is nice to be able to walk to school, but at 7:00 in the morning it is just WAY too cold here to walk the 1/2 mile. I guess I won't have the "....I had to walk 4 miles up hill both ways in the snow story....." for our kiddos someday. We have the luxury of being able to drive when it is too cold. HA HA. Anyway, the low temperatures have been in the 20s and the high for next week are forcasted to be in the 40s, with snow expected on Tuesday! YAY!! Our first snow possibly before Halloween! I get excited about snow because that means Christmas is nearing! Next Saturday begins the countdown for Christmas and that is also the day I am allowed to begin playing Christmas music (when I am by myself). Dustin thinks I should wait until at least after Halloween to begin my countdown and play Christmas music. I'll take what I can get!! Otherwise he would be sick of Christmas music before Thanksgiving!
Tonight Dustin and I rented a movie and bought the good kind of popcorn. (I had been getting the healthy kind with no butter, but I decided that it wasn't worth eating, so I got extra butter this time!) Anyway, Cocoa's favorite snack is popcorn, so while we have some warm, fresh popcorn we are going to video her doing some "special" tricks! Tune in tonight for that video....unless we have video uploading problems. But it should go smoothly!!
