Dustin asked me to put a picture of Koda and his new backpack. The backpack was something that Dustin asked for for Christmas. Koda will be able to carry his and Belle's food and water on our hikes. He might even have to carry Belle now and then. HA HA Here is Koda sporting his new attire.
You would think Koda was Dustin's natural born child as much as he wants me to put pictures of him on here. Oh well, at least he is proud of him. Dustin was never prouder of him than the other day when Koda caught a bird in the yard. Koda was never prouder either. Here he is with his prey.

OH man Gina... how did you handle the bird kill??? I come home to dead things in my back yard every now and then (squirels, birds...) I don't handle it well. But the day I was on the phone with Colton and watch Deuce jump up and get a bird... I screamed. I know they are oh so proud. The black birds always eat the dog food, so I was a little proud because until that point they just kept killing the little cute birds, and this one was indeed a black bird. Anywho, you are one tough momma!
