Mowing the Day After the Triathlon
Here I am push mowing the yard the DAY AFTER the triathlon. I think Dustin was getting revenge because he didn't win his event and I won mine.
What a Mess
Koda just realized that he has to take a shower (Look at those muddy feet!)

Koda not liking the shower

Koda paying me back for giving him a shower

I thought the old saying went "April showers bring May flowers", but here in WV it seems like it should be "April AND May showers will hopefully subside." We have had several days straight with mild showers and torrential downpours. Koda enjoyed a few minutes in the mud, as you can see from the first picture. The second picture is of me giving him a shower, and the third picture is him shaking off IN THE HOUSE!!! I closed the door of the shower and I thought he got all of his shaking done in there. However, as soon as I let him out of the shower he ran ALL through the house shaking like crazy. I couldn't let him outside because the ground was muddy everywhere. Needless to say I had to mop after he dried off.

Growing Like a Weed
I wanted to include a picture of Cocoa and show how much she has grown. I took the second picture of her this morning. Compare the two pictures and how big she is in relation to the Nalgene bottle. She is obviously eating enough and growing like crazy!! I'm excited to find out just how big she really will become. Maybe then we will know just what kind of mix she is.

Recent Cocoa

WOW!! It has been a long time since I have updated, and I appologize! Things have been very busy these past two weeks.
Here is a recent picture of the healthy, energetic Cocoa Bean. She never ceases to amaze us or make us laugh with her funny, intriguing looks and actions. She is something else. She keeps Koda always on the lookout for his own safety. Her two new favorite chew toys are Koda's tail or toes. For some reason, he sometimes lets her chew until her heart's content, and other times he lets her know she is not to touch him with her sharp baby teeth. They are quite a site, but they play so well together.
She is pretty much house trained. She goes to the door and barks to let us know that she needs out. She is for the most part sleeping through the entire night without needing to "go". We have passed the difficult parts of the puppy stage, with the exception of the chewing. YIKES!! She will chew anything!
Here is a black and white picture that a friend took of her. Enjoy!!
P.S. You can't really tell how big she is in this picture, but she is approaching 10 pounds now.
